Students will learn proper nutrition, care, grooming, disease prevention and treatment of domestic and exotic animals. They will receive training in the animal health and vet assisting field and manage an interactive canine day care unit. Students will utilize customer service, merchandising & advertising skills while running the Paws-To-Play pet shop and dog grooming facility. Students will also train in the Equine Center learning the management and care of horses, tack identification, carting and English and Western riding.
