Students and their parents can apply for admission to MCCC four different ways:

  1. Apply Online on a Secure Server   

  2. US Mail or FAX Admissions Application to the Medina County Career Center Admissions Office. Please ensure the completed form includes signatures of both the student and parent/guardian. You may fax the application to: 330.725.5870

Background Check Release
Due to the nature of the programs, students applying for or attending the following majors are required to complete a Background Check Release form:  Early Childhood Education, Public Safety, and Teacher Education Academy. To ensure privacy, please do not email this form.

Student Fees
No tuition is charged for district residents attending while enrolled in high school. The Career Center will provide most equipment and materials used for daily instruction; however, students may be asked to pay a fee if large amounts of materials or personal tools are required. Students will also be expected to purchased uniforms and/or books if required by the academic and/or technical program. The Career Center offers payment options for families that qualify

Selection Criteria
Students seeking enrollment must have two years of high school education prior to admission. A student's grades, courses, attendance, achievement and aptitude test scores are taken into consideration for acceptance.

Transportation
The associate schools provide busing to and from the Career Center for students. Student who prefer to drive must register their cars with the Career Center office and display a parking permit on the windshield.

Ohio Graduation Test (OGT)
A student enrolled at the Career Center who needs assistance in successfully completing the State of Ohio Graduation Test may take advantage of Specialized Courses.

Technical & Grad. Special Education Coordinators
A student who has an Individualized Educational Program (IEP) is eligible for assistance from a Vocational Special Education Coordinator (VOSE). Tutoring is provided on an as-needed basis. Students are encouraged to arrange for assistance when necessary. It is strongly recommended that all special education students take advantage of an Occupational Assessment prior to seeking admission to the Career Center.

Occupational Assessment
Occupational Evaluators housed at the Career Center provide vocational assessments that can assist students in setting career goals. Associate school personnel arrange evaluations.

Guidance and Counseling
Guidance Counselors provide students with assistance in educational and personal matters. They also work cooperatively with staff members, parents, and associate school personnel to provide students with the information necessary to work toward their career goals and personal growth.
 

Online Student Information/Emergency Medical Authorization

Already accepted to the Medina County Caree Center High School?  Parents/Guardians may complete the Online Student Emergency Medical Form. This information is required for both new and current students and includes emergency contact information, parking permit application and more. All information you provide is secure to ensure the information provided can not be read or intercepted by other Internet users.

Please have your student's medical and emergency contact information ready. For students applying for a parking permit, please have your vehicle information on hand: Vehicle make, model, year, driver's license number and license plate number.

Parents/Guardians may also complete this form at the High School Information Center.
