The Medina County Career Center is the premier resource in Medina County for individuals who want to obtain career and technical training. Serving Medina County for over 25 years, the institution has developed strong standards and is recognized by the community for empowering people and companies to succeed. 

MCCC is accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. All of our Career Development Programs provide you with a strong foundation. A variety of classroom, laboratory, independent studies, and clinical experiences are offered to promote knowledge, skill and confidence in the chosen field.

Basic Police Academy required to be a certified police officer is offered at the Medina County Career Center. Classes are taught by qualified instructors using Ohio Peace Officer Training curriculum.

HVAC Technology prepares students to be a level one service technician and installer for a HVAC contractor. The HVAC Technology program is approved by the Ohio Department of Education.

Cosmetology is licensed by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology includes instruction in hair care, hair cutting and styling, permanent waving and hair relaxing techniques, hair coloring and highlighting, dispensing and salon management, and sanitation and bacteriology.

Dental Assisting prepares students to sit for the Ohio Dental Assistant Certification Exam sponsored by the Commission on Ohio Dental Assistant Certification, Inc.

LPN Program provided by the Lorain County Community College, prepares the graduates to function as a licensed practical nurse.

Medical Assisting Join the career that cares! Become a Certified Medical Assistant. CMA’s enjoy contact with patients while working alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Medical Office Administration Work with medical and healthcare professionals in physician offices, clinics, and hospital settings utilizing knowledge and skills learning in the classroom.
